Dinner in The Sky arrives for the first time in Campania and with an unprecedented gastronomic program: a parade of starred chefs and the master pizza maker Franco Pepe who will prepare, for the first time in the world, pizza at a height of 50 meters.
From 2 to 6 June in Naples and then from 10 to 13 June in Caserta, Dinner in The Sky is organized by W.I.P. COMMUNICATION by Vincenzo Moriello and Vittorio Piccirillo in collaboration with DINNER IN THE SKY ITALIA by Stefano Burotti and with the participation of Kimbo, platinum sponsor, and Pepsi Max gold sponsor. All appointments will be held in safety and in compliance with all anti Covid regulations to offer a unique experience, an original combination of haute cuisine and high altitude.
There are 7 starred chefs who will cook suspended between heaven and earth: Salvatore Bianco from Il Comandante - Romeo Hotel, Adriano Dentoni from La dispensa di Armatore, Domenico Iavarone from Josè Restaurant, Lino Scarallo from Palazzo Petrucci, Francesco Sposito from Taverna Estia, Luciano Villani de La Locanda del Borgo di Aquapetra and Marianna Vitale di Sud Restaurant. But not only. If Franco Pepe, the award-winning pizza maker from Caiazzo, has been entrusted with the first pizza of Dinner in The Sky, the chefs of J Japanese Restaurant - Giacomo Ignelzi and Kennedy Garduce - will sign an unrepeatable high-altitude sushi experience.
The Dinner in The Sky wine list was curated by Wine & Thecity which brings on board the restaurant, which Forbes has defined as "the most unusual on the planet", seven prestigious wineries: Astroni, DUBL, Feudi di San Gregorio, Frescobaldi, Mastroberardino, Cantine San Marzano, San Salvatore 1988.
Kimbo, platinum sponsor of Dinner in The Sky, will be the protagonist with its coffee specialists to offer a coffee tasting experience suspended between earth and sky. At sunset, Dinner in The Sky will celebrate aperitif time with long drinks by Tanya Future, the DJ set by Dario Guida, and the live Jazz by Dalila Del Giudice. From morning until evening (from 10.00 to 21.00) you can therefore book your experience on board: from breakfast to afternoon coffee, from lunch to gourmet snacks, from aperitifs to starred dinners. The Baccalaria, Litho 55, Wapo natural food restaurants will sign the Lunch in The Sky in Naples. The Sunrise, La Bulla, Tre Farine, Dolce & Salato and Contemporary Pastry restaurants will be on stage in Caserta.
<For about two years we have been working to bring Dinner In The Sky to Campania, which has been a worldwide success in 70 countries. For Naples and Caserta, the first cities in Southern Italy to host the most extravagant restaurant in the world, we have developed an articulated and varied calendar, certainly beyond the ordinary, which aims to offer different emotions as the hours go by. Each appointment will be reserved for only 22 guests who will be comfortably seated in an armchair, in absolute safety. From time to time, great names in the kitchen will alternate with them, starred chefs, pastry chefs and mixologists to offer unrepeatable dizziness of taste>, explain Vincenzo Moriello and Vittorio Piccirillo.
When and where
In Naples, Dinner in The Sky will be hosted from 2 to 6 June in the Giardini della Mostra d’Oltremare at the historic Fontana dell’Esedra which for the occasion will offer the public a show of lights, music and water games.
At Caserta Dinner in The Sky will be raised from 10 to 13 June in the setting of the Belvedere of San Leucio and the cost of the ticket will also include a guided tour of the Silk Museum thanks to the collaboration with the municipal administration.

How does access to Dinner in The sky work?
Dinner in The Sky is a 5-ton platform that rises up to 50 meters in height lifted on 16 steel cables by a 120-ton crane. In the center there is a table for 22 guests who are secured to the armchairs by comfortable and safe harnesses. During the event there will be a professional team of event managers and technicians on site. Before getting on the platform, guests are greeted with a welcome drink in the Village at the base: an open-air design lounge to prepare for the great emotion. Then, two at a time, they will get on the platform and the security personnel will take care of fastening them to the seats, in Formula 1 style. Once everyone has taken their seats, a 10-second countdown will begin to climb to a height of fifty. meters, where the event will take place.
